The National Youth Service Corps members
The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, on Tuesday called on Corps Members to uphold the core values of the scheme through their service years and beyond and project themselves as good ambassador of the scheme.
In a post shared via the NYSC’s X platform, Nafiu made the call while addressing the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Corps Members undergoing the Orientation Course in Rivers State.
He highlighted patriotism, integrity, efficiency, transparency and commitment as the guiding actions for corps members.
He urged them to make meaningful to the growth and development of the country.
Earlier, the NYSC Rivers State Coordinator, Mr. Moses Oleghe, said that 2,586 Corps Members undergoing the Orientation Course had displayed high levels of discipline, patriotism, and commitment.
The NYSC DG’s address underscores the scheme’s ongoing efforts to instill good virtues and a sense of national duty in Nigerian youth as they prepare to contribute meaningfully to society.
